Bob Barr on Foreign Aid
| Our founding fathers believed that minding our own affairs should not only take precedent over foreign affairs but should take second and third place on our plates as well. Sticking your noses in other peoples business is a good way to get a bloody nose after all. The world is a much different place now, smaller figuratively speaking. This change must be accounted for when remembering our old values. Despite that consideration of that change, it should not alter our old values completely. |

Our government needs to remember who elected them (You!) and who they are here to serve (You!).
…it is time to start saying no more. No more international welfare clients. No more foreign governments treating America as a cash cow. We need to put our own fiscal house in order rather than constantly bail out irresponsible governments around the world – Bob Barr
- Understand – verb – to perceive the meaning of; grasp the idea of; comprehend

The Libertarian Party is America's third largest political party, founded in 1971 as an alternative to the two main political parties. Our vision is for a world in which all individuals can freely exercise the natural right of sole dominion over their own lives, liberty and property by building a political party that elects Libertarians to public office, and moving public policy in a libertarian direction.
